This Christmas we support children and families in need
Our purpose is making difference in a world of change. On a day-to-day basis, we do that by driving the energy transition, making people, communities and companies equipped for their next move. At this time of year, we want to look beyond our direct impact and make difference in an area where we normally don’t – through Christmas donations to children and families.
The world is facing major challenges and we are an important part of the solution, not only because of our long and solid experience, but also by working closely together with our customers, suppliers, and partners. Obviously, we are not the only ones making difference in a world of change. We make an impact within our field, and in other important areas where our work does not reach, we make a Christmas donation.
This year, that gift goes to local organizations in Adven countries to support those who will continue driving the transition in the future, namely the children. In Sweden and Finland, the donations were dedicated to the local organizations of Save the Children (Rädda Barnen and Pelastakaa Lapset), in Estonia to Help the Children (Aitan lapsi) and in Latvia to Disabled Association “Atsperiens” in Valmiera, Association of Children and Young People with Disabilities “Cerību spārni” in Sigulda and Support Center “Pērle” in Cēsis. These organizations make a great impact both locally – and globally.
With that, we want to wish all customers, municipalities, suppliers, and employees a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2023!
